Erster Teil 1. Chor Dem Gerechten muß das Licht immer wieder aufgehen und Freude den frommen Herzen. Ihr Gerechten, freuet euch des Herrn und danket ihm und preiset seine Heiligkeit. (Psalm 97:11-12)	Part One 1. Chorus The light shall ever rise again for the righteous and joy for the virtuous hearts. You righteous, rejoice in the Lord and thank Him and praise His holiness.
2. Rezitativ B Dem Freudenlicht gerechter Frommen Muß stets ein neuer Zuwachs kommen, Der Wohl und Glück bei ihnen mehrt. Auch diesem neuen Paar, An dem man so Gerechtigkeit Als Tugend ehrt, Ist juet ein Freudenlicht bereit, Das stellet neues Wohlsein dar. O! ein Erwünscht Verbinden! So können zwei ihr Glück eins an dem andern finden.	2. Recitative B For the light of joy, for the virtuous and righteous, a new waxing must always begin, which increases well-being and happiness for them. Also for this new pair, in which righteous as well as virtue is honored, a light of joy is today prepared, that presents a new contentment. O! a desired union! Thus can two find one happiness in each other.
3. Arie B Rühmet Gottes Güt und Treu, Rühmet ihn mit reger Freude, Preiset Gott, Verlobten beide!   Denn eu'r heutiges Verbinden   Läßt euch lauter Segen finden,   Licht und Freude werden neu.	3. Aria B Praise God's goodness and faithfulness, praise Him with stirring joy, praise God, o betrothed couple!   For your union today   permits you to find pure blessing,   light and joy are renewed.
4. Rezitativ S Wohlan, so knüpfet denn ein Band, Das so viel Wohlsein prophezeihet. Des Priesters Hand Wird jetzt den Segen Auf euren Ehestand, Auf eure Scheitel legen. Und wenn des Segens Kraft hinfort an euch gedeihet, So rühmt des Höchsten Vaterhand. Er knüpfte selbst eu'r Liebesband Und ließ das, was er angefangen, Auch ein erwünschtes End erlangen.	4. Recitative S Well then, tie a knot that prophesizes so much good. The priest's hand now will lay this blessing upon your marriage, upon your heads. And when the blessing's power from now on is consecrated in you, then praise the fatherly hand of the Highest. He Himself ties your bond of love and makes it so that what He has begun shall also achieve a desired ending.
5. Chor Wir kommen, deine Heiligkeit, Unendlich großer Gott, zu preisen.   Der Anfang rührt von deinen Händen,   Durch Allmacht kannst du es vollenden   Und deinen Segen kräftig weisen.	5. Chorus We come to praise Your holiness, eternally great God.   The beginning springs from Your hands,   through omnipotence you can complete it   and reveal Your blessing powerfully.
Zweiter Teil 6. Choral Nun danket all und bringet Ehr, Ihr Menschen in der Welt, Dem, dessen Lob der Engel Heer Im Himmel stets vermeldt. ("Nun danket all und bringet Ehr," verse 1)	Second Part 6. Chorale Now give thanks and bring honor, all you people in the world, to Him, whose praise the host of angels in heaven continually herald.
(Stücke ersetzten durch Choral) 6. Arie Auf und rühmt des Höchsten Güte Mit erkäntlichem Gemüthe, Angenehm vereintes Paar. Den eurWünschen, den eur Hoffen Ist nun völlig eingetroffen Und eur Glück ist offenbar.	(Mov'ts replaced by the Chorale) 6. Aria Arise and praise the Highest's goodness with knowing hearts, o delightful united pair. For your desires, your hopes are now completely fullfilled and your happiness is apparent.
7. Rezitativ Hoch Edles Paar, du bist nunmehr verbunden, Itzt warten schon die Seegens vollen Stunden, Auf dich und dein erhabnes Hauß. Der Höchste sprach durch seines Dieners Mund Itzt über Dich den Seegen aus. Er wird gewiß bekleiben Und edle Früchte treiben. So geht nun hin im Frieden Euch ist ein solches Wohl Ein daurhafft Wohl beschieden Das keine Zeit vermindern soll. Du aber Herr laß itzt Gebeth und Flehen, Das noch ein mahl zu deinem Throne steigt, Doch die Erhörung sehen; Daß deine Gnade sich zu den Verlobten neigt.	7. Recitative Most noble couple, you are bound together from now on; you await already the full hour of blessing upon you and your cosy dwelling. The Highest pronounced through His servant's mouth His blessing over you. He will surely nurture you and bring forth noble fruit. Then go forth now in peace, such well-being is yours, a lasting good, certainly, that no length of time can diminish. Yet You, o Lord, let prayer and petition, that once again rises to Your throne, now receive a hearing; for Your grace bends down to the betrothed.
8. Chor Höchster schencke diesem Paar Freude die dein Seegen schencket Gieb daß deine Gnaden hand Stets in ihrem Ehestand Glück und Heyl zu ihnen lencket.	8. Chorus Highest, grant to this pair joy sent by Your blessing, grant that Your gracious hand shall always in their marriage steer good fortune and happiness to them.
