Violinist Jennifer Elowitch has
appeared as soloist with the Portland Symphony
Orchestra and in Boston with the Longy Chamber
Orchestra, the Chamber Orchestra of Boston, and
on Emmanuel Music's Bach series. Ms. Elowitch
has been a guest artist with the Franciscan,
Fidelio, and Dakota Quartets and on WGBH Radio.
Recent appearances include performances with
the Mark Morris Dance Group, the Wellesley Composers
Conference, and the Andover and Winsor Chamber
Music Series. In addition to her work on the
faculty of the the New England Conservatory Preparatory
School, she performs regularly with the Boston
Symphony Orchestra and the Boston Pops Esplanade
Orchestra. Ms. Elowitch is the Artistic Co-Director
and Co-Founder of the Portland Chamber Music
Festival, which celebrates its tenth season next
August. She has recorded for CRI, Bonnie Banks
Productions, and Albany Records.
