I was inspired by the chorale that begins at approximately 3 minutes and 20 seconds, Bleib bei uns, denn es will Abend werden. 

Specifically, the pace, the ups and downs, the bouncing back and forth between voices. It feels like a swirl of activity. Back and forth In my mind’s eye, I could imagine the separate voice entities and then the wondrous sound of the whole chorus.

That’s what I had hoped to capture in my artwork.
