Josquin des Prez

Dominus regnavit,
decorem indutus est:
Indutus est Dominus fortitudinem,
et praecinxit se.
Etenim firmavit orbem terrae,
qui non commovebitur.
Parata sedes tua ex tunc;
A saeculo tu es.
Elevaverunt flumina, Domine,
Elevaverunt flumina vocem suam,
Elevaverunt flumina fluctus suos,
A vocibus aquarum multarum.

Mirabiles elationes maris;
Mirabilis in altis Dominus.
Testimonia tua
credibilia facta sunt nimis;
Domum tuam decet sanctitudo,
Domine, in longitudinem dierum.
Gloria Patri et Filio
et Spiritui Sancto.
Sicut erat in principio,
et nunc, et semper,
et in saecula saeculorum, Amen.

The Lord reigns,
clothed in majesty
The Lord has robed himself in strength.
And the orb of the world
is also established
so that it cannot be moved.
Your throne is established
through the ages.
The floods have lifted up, Lord,
the floods have lifted up their voices,
the floods have lifted up their waves
with the voice of many waters.

Wonderful, the ecstasy of the sea:
wonderful, the exaltation of the Lord.
The testimony of your authority
has been strongly made.
Your dwelling is fitted
to be a sacred place, through eternity.
Glory to the Father, to the Son
and to the Holy Spirit,
as it was in the beginning,
now and always
and for ever and ever, Amen.
