Siehe, wie fein und lieblich ist,
Daß Brüder einträchtig bei einander wohnen,
Wie der köstliche Balsam ist,
Der vom Haupt Aaron herabfleußt
In seinen ganzen Bart,
Der herabfleußt in sein Kleid.
Wie der Tau der vom Hermon herabfällt
Auf der Berge Zion;
Denn daselbst verheißt der Herr
Segen und Leben immer und ewiglich.

Behold, how excellent and lovely it is
When kindred live peacefully with each other;
It is like precious balsam
That flows down from Aaron's head
Into his beard,
That flows down onto his clothes.
Like the dew that drops down on Mount Hermon,
Upon the hills of Zion;
For there the Lord has promised
His blessing and life eternally and forever.
