Volunteer

Our volunteer opportunities are very flexible. You can volunteer with us on an occasional or regular basis, and we can put you where you are most comfort able and or interested in learning more.

Most volunteer work will take place at our offices/performances at Emmanuel Church, located at 15 Newbury St., Boston, MA 02116. Some remote work may be possible depending on the need.

Volunteer Opportunities

Join our ambassador program
  • Help to support Emmanuel Music by inviting friends to concerts and sharing your experience on social media. Ambassadors will also be provided with social media concert to share. They can expect to work approximately 5 hours/week surrounding designated performances.
DEVELOPMENt
  • Assist with mailings and annual appeal support Assist with phone calls to current donors

EVENTS
  • Set up chairs and stands for concerts, Sunday cantatas, and open rehearsals
  • Serve as an usher, box office support, or run the concession stand at concerts
  • Help with set-up/take-down, crowd management, or other support at special events
