Kay Patterson is a classical soprano based in the Boston Area equally comfortable on the operatic stage and the concert stage. Possessing a light, clear tone Kay has been praised as being a "delight" (Boston Musical Intelligencer) and recognized for her stage presence being hailed, "A soulful highlight" (Boston Classical Review), Kay performs a wide range of repertoire specializing in early music ensemble performance. She has performed with Connecticut Early Music Festival, Boston Modern Orchestra Project, North End Music & Performing Arts Center, Boston Ballet, Opera Providence, Masterworks Chorale, Cantata Singers, Back Bay Chorale, Boston Lyric Opera and Odyssey Opera. 2022-2023 marks her first season with Emmanuel Music. She is also creator and host of the YouTube channel, The Organized Soprano which produces short films about home organizing, homemaking, and life as a classical singer.
