My name is Katarina, and I am a sophomore at Cornell University, majoring in Music and Environment and Sustainability. I am super excited to be a part of this program and explore Bach's Cantatas and Arias.  
I am a classically trained violinist who began playing the violin at the age of five. Ever since I was young, my favorite musical experiences have been playing in group ensembles, whether in chamber music, chamber orchestra, or symphony orchestra, because of the music's unmatched ability to connect people. I never had the opportunity to delve deeply into Bach's Cantatas and am super excited to develop my understanding of Bach's masterpieces in a collaborative setting.

Outside of music, I love chatting with my family and friends, playing board games, and being outdoors. I will jump at any opportunity for a hiking, skiing, or beach trip and love exploring the gorges around my college campus.  
I am incredibly grateful to have this opportunity to spend this time with people who share the same passion for music, and I am super excited to get to know everyone.
