O God, O Lord, hear my cry;
O Lord, hide not your face from me;
do not turn your servant away in anger,
do not cast me off, do not forsake me.
Be not silent; do not leave me.
Do not turn from me, your servant, in anger,
O God of my salvation,
as I lift up my hands towards thy holy shrine.
